Welcome Weekend 2023 Schedule of Events

We are so ready to welcome you to campus. From move in for residential students, to academic meetings with your departmental faculty, to a campus-wide Cap-a-Palooza event – we’ve got you covered on helping you get connected, meeting a ton of new friends, and fully immersing yourself in life at Cap.

Welcome Weekend runs from Saturday, August 19, 2023 (move-in day for residential students) – Tuesday, August 22, 2023 and is mandatory for all new students. Events will run through the day and evening each day. The full Welcome Weekend schedule will be available in early June. Classes begin Wednesday, August 23, 2023.
